1. Eligibility Checker — am I even eligible, and where?
Start here, not with the country you already like. 2. Cost Calculator — how much will this actually cost?
Once you have a shortlist of realistic destinations, run each one through the Cost Calculator. Pick the country, university type (public or private), course duration and a lifestyle level — economical, moderate or comfortable — and it estimates your total annual cost in INR, broken down by component: tuition, living, travel and insurance.
Treat the number as a planning estimate, not a quote — actual costs vary by city, specific university and how you live. What it’s genuinely useful for is comparing destinations against each other on a like-for-like basis, and against what your family can realistically fund before you get emotionally invested in one option.
3. Scholarship Finder — can I close the funding gap?
Now that you know roughly what a destination costs, the Scholarship Finder tells you how much of that gap might be closeable. Select your destination and study level, and it surfaces scholarships you may qualify for — government, university and external awards — rather than a generic “top 50 scholarships” list that mostly won’t apply to you.
This is also where the three tools start reinforcing each other: a destination that looked expensive in the cost calculator can look very different once a realistic scholarship is factored in — sometimes more affordable than a “cheaper” country with fewer funding options.
How to use all three together
In practice, we’d suggest this order:
- Run the Eligibility Checker first. Get a shortlist of 2–4 destinations that actually fit your profile, not just your preferences.
- Run the Cost Calculator for each one. You’ll usually find the cost spread between your shortlisted options is bigger than expected — that’s useful information on its own.
- Run the Scholarship Finder for the destinations still in range. Rule out the country only when neither the raw cost nor realistic scholarships bring it within budget.

Say a student checks eligibility and gets matched to the UK, Ireland and Germany.
